Creating your final webfolio
This webfolio will pull together all the learning that you have undertaken in your course. More importantly it will be a vehicle for learning itself. It will help you to see the big picture and where all the apparently disparate ideas you have learnt in the course fit together. It is through creating the links that learning will take place. The following quote is from a La Trobe student who went through a similar process.
This webfolio task is also designed to address a number of potential audiences and purposes:
- as an assessment task for this subject
- as a folio which you can use to address the VIT standards
- as a folio that you can use to apply for jobs in various educational sectors
- or maybe just to show your friends and family.
The basic webfolio that you will complete is able to be moulded and shaped to meet the specific needs of these audiences. It is also important that it reflects something about you and the unique skills, knowledge and attributes that you bring to the teaching profession.
